Biography
Alexandra Kidgell read music at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, where she was a Choral Exhibitioner. She has recently completed postgraduate studies at the Royal Academy of Music with Elizabeth Ritchie and Audrey Hyland, graduating with a DipRAM and the Esther Hulbert Award.
She won the Michael Head Prize for English Song (RAM) and was a vocal section finalist in the Royal Overseas League Annual Music Competition 2009. She is also a Britten–Pears Young Artist. Alexandra has participated in masterclasses with Barbara Bonney and Robert Tear, amongst others.
