As a guitarist, composer, dramatist, producer and artistic mentor, Paco Peña has transformed perceptions of the archetypal Spanish form of flamenco. In this recital, recorded live at Wigmore Hall, he performs a selection of guitar solos based on and extracted from different forms of songs or dances that come directly from the traditional flamenco repertoire. 

Paco Peña gave his first concert at Wigmore Hall 40 years ago, in 1967, at a time when flamenco music was far less widespread than it is today.
