In Focus: Errollyn Wallen

The Royal Northern College of Music and Wigmore Hall are delighted to present a day of music to celebrate the work of internationally renowned Belize-born British composer Errollyn Wallen CBE.

Described as the ‘renaissance woman of contemporary British music’ (The Observer), Wallen writes works that effortlessly move between musical genres. Whether through pop-influenced songs or large-scale orchestral works, Wallen draws inspiration from a broad palette of genres and styles. This focus day features solo, chamber and vocal works performed by students from the RNCM.
