Wigmore Hall’s 120th anniversary year starts with a celebration of song like no other: an alphabetical survey of 100 songs by 75 composers, and readings from 30 poets. Performed by a glittering array of leading singers, this special project, devised by Graham Johnson and with singers chosen by John Gilhooly, showcases a huge variety of traditions, eras and genres, and celebrates the art of song in all its forms.
