Recollections of Beethoven

The winner of a Royal Philharmonic Society Composition Prize in 2017 and Wigmore Hall’s Associate Composer this season, Freya Waley-Cohen has developed a reputation for initiative and originality – as in her musical-work-cum-installation Permutations, co-created with violinist Tamsin Waley-Cohen, Finbarr O’Dempsey and Andrew Skulina; and the conjoined concert series, commissioning body and record label Listenpony, run by her with Josephine Stephenson and William Marsey.
