Ireland’s finest and friends – and Schubert – raised the roof in a glittering centenary celebration of Irish culture in Britain
Wigmore Hall hosted a week-long celebration of Irish culture in Britain, saluting in particular the fruitful fields of music and literature. One of the highlights of the week was the Keynote Address by Irish Ambassador H.E. Daniel Mulhall and the Gala Concert on 21 April, at which Ann Murray DBE was presented with The Wigmore Medal in recognition of her significant international career. Read the Guardian’s review.
