As part of its Learning Festival this week, Wigmore Hall launched a special website created by artist/composer Gawain Hewitt – you can visit it here.
On the website’s Performance area you can listen to music created by participants from across the Wigmore Hall Learning programme during the pandemic.
Visit the Make Music area and you can create your own music using loops and excerpts from Wigmore Hall Learning online workshops – you can even save your piece and share it with friends and family!
For the Conversations page, Gawain and chamber ensemble TROUPE asked members of the public about their connection to music during the pandemic.
You can hear these conversations as part of an interactive concert featuring Gawain and TROUPE this Saturday, 5 June, live at Wigmore Hall. Tickets are still available via the website for this very special festival finale!
