Wigmore Hall Learning Trainees 2019/20

We’re delighted to announce our Wigmore Hall Learning trainees for 2019/20! Karyma, Rupert, Liselotte and Claire start with us in September and will develop their skills and confidence over the season as Trainee Music Leader, Royal Academy of Music / Wigmore Hall Fellowship Ensemble and Rosie Johnson RPS / Wigmore Hall Apprentice Composer.

Here’s what they have to say about their forthcoming time with us...

Liselotte Östblom/Rupert Cox Duo

Royal Academy of Music / Wigmore Hall Fellowship Ensemble

“This is a milestone opportunity for us where we get to explore a unique dimension of what it means to be performing artists in today's society. Music breaks boundaries. Together with the extended Wigmore community we are thrilled to learn alongside and share, create and collaborate!”

Karyma Ellis

Trainee Music Leader

“I can’t wait to join the Wigmore Hall team and create weird and wonderful pieces of music through experimentation and inspired creativity”

Claire Roberts

Rosie Johnson RPS/Wigmore Hall Apprentice Composer

“I'm really looking forward to the challenge ahead. I'm excited and humbled to be working with people who will inspire and support me this year...so I can't wait to get stuck in!”
