2021 Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition
Preliminary Notice
Dates: The Competition itself will take place between Tuesday 13 - Sunday 18 April 2021 inclusive. Selected quartets will be expected to arrive in London no later than Sunday 11 April 2021 and leave on Monday 19 April 2021.
Venues: the Preliminary Round will be held at the Royal Academy of Music from Tuesday 13-Friday 16 April 2021, the Semi-Finals and Final at Wigmore Hall on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 April 2021 respectively. Quartets not based in the UK will also be asked to perform once outside the Competition timetable, either at a lunchtime concert or in a community setting, as part of the events surrounding the Competition.

Applications are now open; they close on Thursday 3 December 2020.
