Piano Circle

Annual Donation of £1,000 - £2,000

The London Pianoforte Series is a central part of Wigmore Hall’s programme and we are proud to be able to attract the world’s greatest soloists. In the 2017/18 Season this includes Yefim Bronfman, Angela Hewitt, Kirill Gerstein, Igor Levit, Imogen Cooper, Daniil Trifonov, Steven Osborne, Alexander Melnikov and Sir András Schiff to name but a few.

Our Steinway grand pianos must be kept in perfect condition to ensure world-class piano, song and chamber music recitals, but also to withstand an incredibly tough schedule. They are possibly the busiest pianos for live performance in the country, in use every day for lunchtime and evening performances, schools concerts, rehearsals and masterclasses.

From almost daily tuning to biennial restringing, the maintenance of our pianos is constant and costly, and for this we need your help.

Your Involvement

Donations will be acknowledged in all Wigmore Series brochures and concert programmes in the 2017/18 Season as well as on the donor listing in the foyer.
