Rubinstein Circle

Champion Wigmore Hall's artistic programme in return for unrivalled benefits

Members of the Rubinstein Circle are enthusiastic concert-goers who together form our closest group of Friends. Membership offers a unique opportunity to join with like-minded people in supporting six specific concerts every year – the Rubinstein Circle members vote on a shortlist of nominations from the Director's programme every year.

The Circle's name was inspired by the great pianist Arthur Rubinstein. Rubinstein enjoyed a collaborative relationship with Wigmore Hall throughout his career, from 1912 until his last ever public performance in 1976. His long and distinguished career inspired the creation of the Rubinstein Circle; its members, in true Wigmore spirit, support established artists of world renown as well as young musicians whose burgeoning careers represent the very best in emerging talent.
