Wigmore Hall’s investment in nurturing the next generation of song recitalists continues as
Wolfgang Holzmair passes on the wisdom of his long experience to talented postgraduate students from London’s four conservatoires.
The Austrian baritone, who studied with Erik Werba and Hilde Rössel-Majdan, has taught at the Salzburg Mozarteum since 1998 and is a visiting professor at the Royal Academy of Music in London. His approach as performer and teacher is devoted to the art of expressive communication.
Wolfgang will return to Wigmore Hall to sit on the jury of the 2015 Wigmore Hall/Kohn Foundation International Song Competition.
