Born in Italy’s South Tyrol, Andrè Schuen studied at the Salzburg Mozarteum and refined his innate feeling for song under Wolfgang Holzmair’s care.

He opens his Wigmore Hall debut with Schumann’s setting of nine Heine poems, the Liederkreis Op. 24, and journeys towards Frank Martin’s redemptive monologues from Hofmannsthal’s Jedermann by way of the three Harfenspieler songs from Wolf’s Goethe-Lieder.
