Overview
The Dover Quartet emerged victorious from the 2013 Banff International String Quartet Competition, capturing the event’s Grand Prize and securing three additional prizes, including that for the best Haydn performance.
The ensemble returns to Wigmore Hall following its Semi-Final performance in the 2012 Wigmore Hall London International String Quartet Competition, pairing one of Haydn’s most inventive string quartets with the classical refinement and romantic harmonies of Dvorák's String Quartet No. 11.
