Their vibrant, full-blooded interpretations of baroque masterworks arise from a deep understanding of the music’s expressive gestures and affects, so much so that they restore a sense of the excitement that must have gripped audiences at the time of their first performances.

This programme opens with excerpts from André Campra’s Mass 'Ad majorem Dei gloriam' and moves on to a series of radiant sacred works by Antonio Vivaldi, capped by the so-called Red Priest’s famous Gloria.
