Overview

Haydn, Weber and Martinů invested great creative energy into their trios for flute, cello and piano.

The instrumental combination, strikingly rich if small in repertoire, has rarely been treated withsuch imagination and insight. Wigmore Hall’s Artist in Residence, Jean-Guihen Queyras, and twodistinguished colleagues are set to cast revealing light on four of the genre’s masterworks.
