    Andreas Schablas and members of theBoulanger Trio perform Friedrich Cerha’sFünf Stücke for clarinet, cello and piano,created in 2000 as a fiftieth birthdaytribute to Heinrich Schiff.

    The BoulangerTrio, praised by the SüddeutscherZeitung for its tonal blend and balance,opens with the composer’s Fünf Sätze,in which Cerha explores the contrastsand textural combinations available tothe piano trio.
