Armenian cellist NarekHakhnazaryan made his mark in 2011 as winnerof the Cello First Prize and Gold Medal at theXIV International Tchaikovsky Competition, whilehis Russian-born, London-based contemporaryPavel Kolesnikov achieved his internationalbreakthrough as Laureate of the 2012 HonensPrize for Piano.
