    Overview

    The Doric String Quartet concludes its two-part surveyof Haydn’s Op. 76, moving from the exquisite opening,meditative Adagio and boisterous conclusion of the‘Sunrise’ to the experimental ideas of the StringQuartet in Eb, with its ‘Fantasia’ slow movement,fleet-footed minuet and tongue-in-cheek finale.
