Overview
Ralph Kirshbaum, loved by cellists and audiences alike, made his professional debut in the late 1950swith the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and went on to win the Cassadó Competition and the InternationalTchaikovsky Competition little more than a decade later.
He begins the week of his 70th birthday incompany with Shai Wosner to give the first of two concerts of Beethoven’s works for cello and piano.
