Overview
Leonid Desyatnikov’s chamber compositionsinclude the dream-like Wie der alte Leiermann,written for Gidon Kremer in 1996, a starkresponse to the chill of Schubert’s Winterreise.
Maxim Rysanov also performs Dobrinka Tabakova’sSuite in Jazz Style, which he premièred in 2009,together with his own arrangement of Schubert’sdelightful Sonatina in G minor D408 and SergeyAkhunov’s reimagining of the Romantic composer’ssong ‘Erlkönig’.
