Cédric Pescia, born in Lausanne, made hisbreakthrough in 2002 with victory in the GinaBachauer International Artists Piano Competition.

He makes his Wigmore Hall debut with a programmethat spans the gamut of keyboard character pieces,from François Couperin’s Quatrième livre de piècesde clavecin to Schumann’s Davidsbündlertänze,intimate reflections on contrasting aspects of thecomposer’s artistic personality.
