Alexander Gavrylyuk, born in Ukraine in 1984,confirmed his place among the finest artists of hisgeneration as winner of the 2005 Arthur RubinsteinInternational Piano Master Competition.

His probinginterpretations of Rachmaninov and Prokofiev, ondisc and in the concert hall, have attracted criticalsuperlatives and favourable comparisons withbenchmark recordings by past greats.
