French cellist Gautier Capuçon, one of the foremostcellists of his generation, joins Quatuor Ebène forthe first half of a concert comprising two of thegreatest of all chamber music compositions.
Schubert’s String Quintet stands here as thesublime complement to Beethoven’s Op. 130String Quartet, performed with its original finale,the cosmic, ultimately consoling Grosse Fuge.
