Overview
Named after the Greek satyr who challenged Apolloto a musical contest, the Edinburgh-based EnsembleMarsyas was formed to champion virtuoso windmusic of the eighteenth century.
The group returnsto Wigmore Hall in partnership with Maurice Steger,recently hailed by the Independent as ‘the world’sleading recorder player’.
