In high demand as a chamber musician and soloartist,
Tim Horton made his international breakthroughsoon after graduating from Trinity College Cambridgein 1994 when he replaced Alfred Brendel in twoperformances of Schoenberg’s Piano Concerto withthe City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra andSir Simon Rattle.
His programme for this recitalincludes Schoenberg’s aphoristic Drei Klavierstückeand Beethoven’s all-encompassing ‘Appassionata’.
