Overview
Two of Norway’s foremost artists join forces for thisrecital of masterworks for cello and piano, includingthe folk music-influenced substance of Grieg’s CelloSonata of 1882–83 and Janáček’s Pohádka.
Theirprogramme also includes the light-hearted melodiclines of Grieg’s early Intermezzo and joyful charm ofSibelius’s Four Pieces Op. 78 of 1915–17.
