Overview
Towering monuments of the string quartet repertoiremark the opening of the 2017 ECMA Showcase atWigmore Hall, performed by two fine young Frenchensembles: Quatuor Hanson, formed at the ParisConservatoire in 2013, and Quatuor Akilone, anotheroutstanding product of the Paris Conservatoireand winner of the prestigious 2016 BordeauxInternational String Quartet Competition.
