    Directed by Clio Gould, distinguished soloist andleader of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, theSainsbury Royal Academy Soloists comprises thefinest young string players from the Royal Academyof Music.

    Their programme pairs Mahler’s shrewdlyjudged arrangement of Schubert’s ‘Death and theMaiden’, created in 1896, with the folk-like charmand energy of Tchaikovsky’s Souvenir de Florence.
