Overview

Christoph Pohl began his singing career asa member of the Hanover Boys’ Choir. TheGerman baritone has achieved internationalacclaim as a member of the SemperoperDresden ensemble in roles as diverse asMozart’s Count Almaviva, Rossini’s Figaroand Wagner’s Wolfram.

Following the successof his Royal Opera House debut in GeorgFriedrich Haas’s Morgen und Abend in 2015,Pohl marks his first appearance at WigmoreHall with a compelling programme of songsto poetry by Goethe, Heine and Schiller.
