Maurice Steger has worked as soloist and director with many of the world’s leading period-instrument ensembles. He leads a whistle-stop tour to major landmarks of the recorder repertoire, including the Sonata in G by Giovanni Sammartini, oboist to the Prince of Wales and music master to his wife and children.

Award-winning young harpsichordist Jean Rondeau completes the programme with jewels of the keyboard repertoire.
