Four finalists of the Jaques Samuel Pianos Competition, consisting of one student from each college: Guildhall, Royal Academy of Music, Royal College of Music and Trinity Laban, will perform a 45-minute programme including the compulsory work of Liszt’s ‘Au lac de Wallenstadt’ from Années de Pélerinage. The remainder of the programme is of own choice.

The Jaques Samuel Pianos Competition has taken place annually since 1996 and is open to all students from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Royal Academy of Music, Royal College of Music and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance.

There will be a lunch interval from 12:00 noon – 12:30pm and the winner will be announced at approximately 2:15pm.
