    Overview

Kim Kashkashian, who won a Grammy in 2013 with her solo viola Kurtág/Ligeti disc returns with a new trio and music by Debussy, Takemitsu and Gubaidulina. Trio Tre Voci includes Italian-American flautist Marina Piccinini and Israeli harpist Sivan Magen. Each artist has been acknowledged for bringing a unique voice to their instrument and they are joining forces on the Wigmore Hall stage.

Trio Tre Voci explores the influence of Debussy’s Sonata on Takemitsu’s trio for flute, viola and harp. The ensemble’s Wigmore Hall debut includes the UK première of Toshio Hosokawa’s latest work.
