Crossing genre boundaries comes as standard with Onyx Brass.

Formed back in 1993 Onyx Brass are still pushing the medium of the brass quintet with as much enthusiasm and gusto. The quintet, described by BBC Music Magazine as ‘easily the classiest brass ensemble in Britain’, performs pieces from its brilliant Jazz Project, and tops the evening with Gwilym Simcock’s aptly named Stomper. The richness and warmth of their sound is remarked upon by all who hear them.

The Wigmore Hall Bar will be open after the concert for more late night Jazz and drinks. Free with your ticket, Jazz pianist Joe Hill will be performing from 11:00PM.
