Overview
Two major Russian sonatas form thesoulful centrepieces of a programmethat otherwise features smaller,lighter works by Tchaikovsky andRachmaninov, the Mélodie (in NarekHakhnazaryan’s own arrangement)recalling the former composer’shappiness on his patron Nadezhdavon Meck’s Ukrainian estate.
