Overview
Erich Wolfgang Korngold and Hitchcock’s regularcollaborator Bernard Herrmann both remain bestknown for their film scores. The slow movement from the former's third quartet is borrowed from his score for The Sea Wolf, while the latter made his own concert suitefrom Psycho, notable for its piercing strings.
