      Overview

      The Cosmos Quartet offers Brahms’s ebullient ThirdQuartet (1875) while the Trio Gaon – deriving itsname from a Korean word meaning both ‘centre ofthe world’ and ‘generating warmth’ – performs hisexpansive First Piano Trio (1854) in its 1889 revision.
