    Overview

Chetham’s students, past and present, give an intimate, hour-long recital of virtuosic works by French and French-influenced composers as part of the School’s 50th anniversary year. Composer, pianist and Jazz maestro Gwilym Simcock, a former student of Chetham’s, presents and joins the young performers onstage, whilst his contemporary arrangements of Debussy’s Children’s Corner forms the centrepiece of the performance
