Overview
The latest instalment of StevenIsserlis’s juxtaposition of two favouritecomposers includes the first of Fauré’stwo piano quintets, unveiled in 1906,and Schumann’s single piano quartet,an exuberant work emanating from hisyear devoted to chamber music (1842).
