Overview

In recent seasons, Leeds Lieder ‘has fully realised its potential and become an event of international stature’ (Opera Now), championing song across the north of England through thriving education projects, commissioning and presenting the finest song recitalists. Tonight, a star-studded line up performs a Shakespearian programme to secure the financial stability of the organisation, led by Sir Thomas Allen and Leeds Lieder Director Joseph Middleton, at the invitation of John Gilhooly.
