Stephen Waarts performs oneof Szymanowski’s three greatcycles from 1915, Myths, whichhe described in a post-war letteras ‘very original timbrally andtechnically’, encapsulating theenchanting and expressive natureof a mythical story. The cycle isinterposed between three popularviolin works.
