A multi-award winner, the widelyacclaimed Norwegian violinistbrings her special artistry tobear on a programme of threemajor works. The demandingfirst Bartók sonata was writtenfor the Hungarian virtuoso Jellyd’Arányi, with whom the composerperformed it in London in 1922.
