The American pianist Nicholas Angelich presents a programme including Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 14. It is said that the nickname Moonlight Sonata came from the German music critic and poet Ludwig Rellstab just five years after Beethoven's death, due to 'moonlight shining' effect in the first movement.
