    Overview

    An inventive piece by the Prague-born Ignaz Moscheles, based on a Bohemian folk song, precedes two Schubert gems: the single-movement Nocturne for piano trio, and the Sonata originally written for the short-lived arpeggione, a cross between guitar and cello.
