Max Raabe is best known for his uniqueinterpretations of songs from the 20s and 30s.The songs in tonight´s programme stem fromGermany's Weimar Era and in few words theytell little stories; often they are part of a story.Many have gone on to inspire whole featurefilms and operettas – these ‘three-minuteoperas’ tell us about the confusion of inter-humanrelationships.

Most of tonight’s songs will be in Germanand some in English.
