In 2018, the Scottish guitarist became the first exponent of hisinstrument to receive the Royal Philharmonic Society Award forYoung Artists. His programme concentrates on Georges Lentz’s Ingwe, the inspiration for which came to Lentz from a loneguitarist in a pub in the middle of the desert one night in 2004.
