Programme

Overview

La Nuova Musica, wrote The Times, is ‘as lively a collection of instrumentalists and singers as the world offers’. Founded by David Bates in 2007, it has gone from strength to strength, establishing itself, in the words of Radio 3, ‘as one of the most exciting consorts in the early music field.’ Its interpretation of the Vespro della Beata Vergine has been described as ‘a bold new take’ on Monteverdi’s great collection.
