Overview

All three performers are alumni of the Paris Conservatoire who came together as a trio in 2014 and achieved a major success with their win at the International Chamber Music Competition in Lyon in 2018. They play a piece that has special resonances for all lovers of Schubert’s music, composed in November 1827 and premièred at a private occasion in January of the last year of the composer’s short life to celebrate the engagement of Schubert’s schoolfriend Joseph van Spaun.
