Overview
Formed in 2001 by four graduates of the Royal College of Music, the ensemble received second prize at the London International String Quartet Competition in 2006 as well as the Esterhazy Prize for best performance of a Haydn quartet. Of a previous Haydn recording, MusicWeb International wrote of ‘a clear headedness about the performances that is both invigorating and involving … Quartet playing … of this quality is rare on disc.’
