One of the co-founders of the ensemble that specialises in music for the 17th and 18th centuries plays a concerto attributed to the remarkable Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, who died tragically young in 1736 at the age of 26, while the vocal soloists join with the group for one of his most celebrated works, written in the last few weeks of his life.
